Project Overview

This solution is built in a tropical fruit planting park in Thailand. The installation ground adopts leveled compacted mud ground plus partial cement hardening loading and unloading zones, fixed by ground anchor counterweights without large-area permanent civil construction. The main frame adopts 6061-T6 aviation-grade aluminum alloy profiles matched with 850g/㎡ double-coated weather-resistant PVC fabric. Two sets of tents are placed side by side for combined use, fully adapting to Thailand’s tropical environment with year-round strong UV rays, short-term heavy rain in rainy seasons, high temperature & high humidity air and slight offshore salt spray. The whole tent adopts modular splicing structure with integrally formed welding-free profiles, featuring short construction period and disassembly & storage available in off picking seasons. It fills the centralized storage gap during fruit harvest seasons, one side for temporary sorting of fresh fruits, and the other side for storing farm machinery, fertilizers and packaging supplies.

Client Pain Points

Fruit picking has obvious seasonal characteristics. Fresh fruits are produced in batches during harvest periods, leading to severe insufficient capacity of original small storage rooms. Permanent warehouses are idle in off-seasons and continuously generate maintenance & disinfection costs. Fresh fruits stacked outdoors suffer long-term sun exposure, prone to dehydration and rot, and loss surges after rain soaking in rainy seasons.

The annual temperature in Thailand stays above 38℃ for a long time. Ordinary iron pipes rust rapidly under high temperature and high humidity environment. Thin lightweight fabric delivers poor sunshade and heat insulation performance, high temperature inside the tent accelerates fruit deterioration, and aging & water leakage occur within only 3-6 months.

Conventional small storage tents are equipped with dense internal support components, making farm tricycles and small transfer forklifts unable to drive inside for loading and unloading, only manual carrying available and low sorting & transfer efficiency.

The park land belongs to agricultural land. Local policies prohibit large-area excavation and pouring of permanent factories. The approval process for fixed buildings is complicated, failing to rapidly expand storage space.

The planting park plan is adjusted year by year. Fixed warehouses cannot be relocated, requiring repeated investment to build storage facilities after switching planting areas.

Mandatory Procurement Requirements

Single unit with 18m clear span and zero internal pillars, two units placed side by side for partitioned usage, one for fresh fruit storage and the other for machinery & supplies storage, supporting simultaneous operation of multiple transfer vehicles.

Aluminum alloy profiles feature high temperature resistance and anti-humidity salt spray corrosion performance. The tent fabric delivers high sunshade, anti-UV and rain wash resistance, with 10–15 years of outdoor recycling service life.

Full aluminum alloy modular splicing structure, assembled for stock storage in peak seasons and fully disassembled & packed in off-seasons, transferable for repeated use in other planting areas of the park.

The tent delivers sunshade and cooling effect, large-area ventilation screens are equipped on side walls to reduce hot and humid air inside and slow down fruit spoilage speed.

Fixed by ground anchors and counterweight sandbags. Pre-embedded anchor bolts are only used for partial cement ground in loading zones, original planting land will not be damaged, no construction waste generated after disassembly.

The overall curve roof frame adopts 6061-T6 aviation-grade aluminum alloy profiles with double-layer anodized surface treatment, stable wind pressure resistance. The streamlined radian of curve roof is enlarged to guide rainwater to both sides quickly in rainy seasons and avoid water accumulation & leakage on the top.

850g/㎡ double-coated industrial PVC tent fabric is selected, customized for Thailand’s low-temperature rainy and snowy environment. Double-layer thickened binding on fabric edges, no hardening or embrittlement under high temperature, resistant to rain wash and sun aging.

Partitioned Passage & Ventilation Configuration

Independent auxiliary loading passage is reserved between two side-by-side units. Widened sliding freight doors are set for each unit, matched with independent pedestrian side doors to realize separated flow of fruit transfer vehicles and farm machinery. Detachable full-surround insect-proof ventilation screens on both sides maintain continuous air convection, balance internal temperature and humidity and reduce fruit stuffy rot.

Foundation Fixing Method

Stainless steel pre-embedded anchor bolts are used for hardening loading zones. Heavy ground anchors and counterweight sandbags are matched for mud ground in planting areas without large-area cement pouring, original planting soil of the park will not be damaged.
